What is the largest breed of chicken?

Yikes! That's one MEAN lookin chicken.

Is an Australorp like a jersy giant? Or do they not get as big?

Australorps are big birds but not as big as Giants.

They come in black (most commone), blue (second most common, but hard to get) and white (NEVER see them at shows). Then there's also splash, but splash isn't recognized by the APA.

Hi! My blue Jersey Giant girls (from ZuniBee here at BYC / hatched 2/20/08) have just started laying.
I also have 2 gorgeous blue JG roos (from the same hatch) and weighed the smaller of the 2 on Sat (because he was the one I caught first) and he was an ounce or so shy of 10 lbs. At almost 9 months, the boys are nowhere near filled-out.
I'll be able to offer 6 eggs at a time (because I only have 2 JG girls), if you'd like to try them. The chicks should hatch blue, splash, or black.

I have the JG's penned together now, but not for long.

Malays aren't mean at all. My 4 year old pets them all the time and occasionally tries to pick them up and they never peck or scratch or even seem bothered by the fuss. That's actually a small Malay in the picture...

Here's my 6 month old stag who didn't want to stand up straight for a picture

They look alot like the Malay. Are the saipans as mean as the malay?

Malays aren't mean, they may look it but they are very sweet calm birds. My 4 year old pets them all the time and occasionally tries to pick them up with never a peck or scratch. That's actually a very small Malay in the picture...

That is not a chicken, fowlafoot. That is a full-grown dinosaur.

Out of curiosity, encmanerabbitry, why are you interested in the *ahem* "big and beautiful" breeds?
