What is the latest your chickens lay?

Starting to see some scattered egg laying after buying 3 hens. The move stressed them out but statrting to see limited eggs. It seems most of the laying happens in the afternoon. I was expecting it to be more in the morning. When is the normal laying hours? I know it shifts every day but when is the latest they usually lay?

Mine lay all day long. I have a couple that lay first thing in th morning and I have others that are afternoon layers. Mine are usually done laying by 3:00 in the afternoon.

Mine lay anywhere from 6AM-6PM. They seem to take shifts and it depends on how many good bugs are out. If they are busy chasing bugs they seem to busy to be laying eggs til late in the day.

Ok good to know. I used to give up after lunch but seems still possible for the rest of the day.
