What is the minimum amount of hens per roosters so that the roosters won't fight each other?

Hi, welcome to the forum. Glad you joined.

So, if I only have 1hen and 3 roos, should I get rid of 2 roos.?
What are your goals for chickens? Why do you want any? Your goals and reasons for having them will go a long way in answering this.

NatJ had a great post. I see several possible options depending on what you want to happen. Since you know you have 3 boys they are probably a little older than baby chicks.

Are you planning on eating them or some of them? You could keep them until you start to see problems and then either eat them or separate them as they grow to butcher age.

You could get rid of all the boys but as NatJ said, you'd need more girls to keep the pullet company. The challenge with that is integration. The closer they are to the same age the easier integration usually is. Sometimes integration is really easy, sometimes it is hard. Integrating a single chicken of any age can be a lot more challenging than integrating in groups. This depends on their age and how they are acting, but to me the ideal solution would be to find a few more pullets the right age and integrate them before you get rid of the boys.

Do you plan to breed them and raise chicks. Then you obviously need a rooster. Choose one of these and get rid of the other two. Get some more girls. Since you would no longer have a single chicken, integration would probably be easier. It can still be a challenge but having two (the pullet and the boy) would sure help your odds of it going smoother.

If your goals are just eggs the cleanest thing would probably be to get rid of them all and start over. Try to just get girls. That means purchasing sexed chickens, not hatching eggs. Once they have them though, many people are reluctant to let them go.

If you can let us know what your goals are and what you want to wind up with maybe we can help you get there. There are several more possible scenarios so you have several more options.

Let us know and once again, :frow

I had a pair of legbar roosters that were inseparable until I placed them in a divided run and split my flock between them. It caused so much chaos I downsized my flock to only 12 and re-homed one rooster.I must have hit the sweet spot because they're happier now
