What is the most precious thing you have seen today?

I went to my friend's daughter's baby shower, tonight. It filled my heart with love to see this very pregnant mama-to-be with her mama. My friend lost her husband to cancer last year. This was a 50-ish couple SO IN LOVE. I hate the term "soul mates, " but these two were Soul Mates. And he was taken far too soon... His wake was the last big gathering in that home. Anyway, it was very emotional for me to see these same folks, in that same home, for a different reason. Life endures and love grows & continues.

Looking at our 8 year old sound asleep and all warm and snuggly in his bed before having to shatter his dreams with "school time!" I also looked in our Finch's nest and one of the eggs has hatched and there was a teeny tiny little baby bird. . .just precious. I just hope these parents know they have to feed it!! Nothing sweeter than a baby anything.

I was shopping in a Big Lots store today and there was a young Mother pushing a cart with a very cute little boy in it needing a nap. He spotted his moms purse in the bottom of the cart and curled up on it and went right to sleep. It was so sweet - it almost made me cry.

Love the kids/babies in your life...keep them safe.

I am sure watching her daughter become a mother is going to be very soothing to your friends heart.

The most precious thing I saw today was my sons face. I snuck into his therapy session early and he turned around and just BEAMED at me. I swear I can have the worst day and that kid can grin at me and make everything ok in 2 seconds flat!

I saw my son surrounded by Veterans at the Moose Lodge dinner tonight, shaking his hand and thanking him for serving. I'm still teary-eyed over it.
