What is the name of this movie?

I saw this movie ages ago, some time last year, but I can't remember its name. *scratches chin*

There was a meteor falling for the earth, and the crew of a spaceship decided to sacrifice themselves to stop it by flying the ship into the rock.
It was a good movie. I want to use it as an example in an english presentation I'm doing, but I can't remember its name.

I read the Wiki for that one, and I do know it, but it's not the one I'm thinking of. Thanks anyway! That was a pretty awesome movie too, though.

I think there was also a tidal wave involved, I'm not sure. There were a lot of scenes of mass evacuation along the highways too.
