What is the nastiest thing you have fed to your flock?

Teriaki salmon with the skin still on it :p

I gave them the carcass of the turkey from Thanksgiving. They picked that thing till it was all dry bone.

I burnt the tar out of some roll at thanksgiveing. I was gonna feed them to the gals and forgot. They sat on the counter for a couple days I couldnt cut them with a sharp knife one night outside in the rain softened them right up and the gals went to town on them.

Threw the turkey neck bones out there on Thanksgiving. They picked them clean! DH didn't know that they eat meat!

You all are not trying very hard!

Maggots! We leave meat and fish out to grown them off and on as a protein treat.

While I don't actively feed this, my hens find frogs and toads in the summer, peck them to death and eat them, usually pulling out the intestines first

I dont feed them to them but Live Mice and Snakes and Lizards that wander into the yard! Watched them Rip their little bodies apart with Glee! Almost a little scary!!

The fresh guts of their excess brothers, slaughtered in front of their eyes...

You are in the lead!

I also feed mine crickets and grasshoppers. The bugs do not volunteer for this duty, so they are open a little worse for having been captured.
