What is the nastiest thing you have fed to your flock?

My son shot a deer on the 30th of November and we've had it on ice since. I was processing the meat yesterday and when I got finished with a leg I threw it to them!! OMG you should have seen the liitle vulchers....

I ended up giving them all 4 legs and they picked them clean!!

If it weren't safe, I couldn't have chickens here. I don't feed them to the chickens, they hunt them down and take them.

We have no ticks any more, either. And no one has caught Rocky Mountain Spotted fever.​
