Just FYI, I had one of my peahens hatch out four babies a couple of weeks ago. Then one of my neighbors called all in a state of panic because of the little peachicks got caught in some netting she had over her zuchinis.
So I went over and decided to catch the peachicks and put them in my brooder. It's a long story but the short of it is that all four chicks died in the next couple of days apparently from not eating or drinking on their own.
Wouldn't you know it, I later found out that can be common. So you may want to do some research into putting the peachicks in a brooder by themselves.
I am now leaving the five new peachicks that just hatched out last week with their momma for awhile. Saw them all this morning and they're doing well.
