What is the ratio of fertile eggs that would hatch after being shipped

It depends on a lot of factors. It tends to be a pretty low hatch rate, though.

I expect it depends on how well they are packed, how they are handled by the PO and how well you are at hatching them. Since you can't say who was at fault you can't say which of these things is the reason they didn't hatch or did.

I think a 40% hatch rate is about par for the course for me.
