.... red buff.

How to create them? .... the chance?

Your 'Chessboard' are most easily made with regular Spauldings. The Green/Blue you picture is just a higher percentage of Spaulding. But the Red Buff is made with Purple BS.

Like i say ALL are BLUE spalding black shoulder peahens the first one i know now where she was born ... not at Winged Magnolia! And I shall know her ascendants tomorrow!

Red buff = a blue variation !
Blue BS peahen X green peacock = 50% spalding Blue split BS.(I did and I have no other color than the Blue!)
50% spalding Blue split BS X 50% spalding Blue split BS = 50% spalding Blue BS who can be brown = red Buff .... or green/blue like the second picture.... why ?

The 'Chessboard' I thought it appeared with Blue BS seiplel - at Winged magnolia they have this type of bird ... but not because the bird is not born there ... they bought it!
