What is the smallest breed of bantam?

Hi there! Seramas are supposed to be the smallest, but the dutch and OEGB bantams are also very tiny. My dutch and OEGB are about the size of a class B serama, and some OEGB I have are the size of a class A

Hi folks,

Actually, Seramas are becoming recognized, they're working on the process of qualification.

I've been breeding Dutch since 2004, and am D3 director of the American Dutch Bantam Society (and ABA D5 director, fwiw.)

Dutch are not as small as Modern Games, and some OEGs are smaller than some Dutch.

They can be very tame indeed, see this pic of one of my hens telling me a story:

And see our website for more pics of Dutch Bantams:

Happy to answer any questions about Dutch.

Cheers,

I will freely admit to knowing almost nothing about Seramas. I would love to get some Moderns someday, so many chicken breeds, not enough pens!
