What is the strangest place your hens have laid an egg?

I had one of my hens lay in my daughter's crib. I kept the window open so the cats could come and go when they wanted. I didn't know the chickens were coming and going as well.

We keep the kitchen window open for the cat too and a few days ago Little Red hopped in. Then she couldn't figure out how to get back outside and knocked over everything on the counter when I approached.

On the couch....
And the driver seat of my husbands Firebird. She flew in through the T-tops and couldn't figure out how to get back out. We found her walking around in the hatch back singing her egg song and couldn't quite understand what the heck she was doing in there until we left and he sat on the egg :/

One of my new layers laid its egg in their shallow bowl of water outside on the run. Everyone else seems to use the nests. What was she thinking?

All our hens are out door girls. We hear a sound from the kitchen all of a sudden and discover her trying to snuggle her egg she laid next to the garbage bin in the kitchen. All the doors were closed. I have no idea how she snuck in there still. hahahha

At the time mine were all free ranging (several years ago) and one morning after returning from
work (I worked graveyard, 12 to 8am) I parked my truck and a chicken jumped out of the back. . .
and I was all like

. I got into the truck bed and peeked under the tool box and found
a nest of probably 15 eggs!! I also had apparently driven her to work that night (and I suspect
other nights as well) and she stayed on her next through the drive, all night at work and coming
home. .. I was shocked.

. I did not know how long they'd been there or if they were
any good, I threw them away and made darned sure she didn't re-establish a nest under
there. . .there had been some old hay stuck under the tool box from hauling a load, so I
guess that's why they didn't roll around. I wish I'd taken a picture.
