My dad's friend's father used to operate a chicken farm. My dad went in and bought
this for me. It is galvanized steel that looks good as new on being cleaned up.

He has 4 barn style booders (almost big as a car), about 10 of these nest boxes with fold up perches (prevent poopy eggs at night).
Several wooden incubators, large galvanized feeders, waterers etc. I would love to have one of the big brooders but, I don't have anywhere
to put something that large...

I'm going tomorrow to look around...I might buy it all providing I get ideas on value of this stuff.

Scout it out on Ebay. I know the galvanized nest boxes like that are between $200-300new at a lot of hatchery websites. Do searches for the equipment and see what you come up with. Brooders that big would likely be a pretty penny too. Good luck with getting the stuff! Sounds like you could walk away with an awesome setup for a great deal!

The best chicken equipment is old equipment. Clean it up and use it. If you are lucky, your great grandkids will be using it.
