You had a hard time telling his head from his tail sometimes.

When Q got older, he developed a truly unique V-comb, and his hackles looked like flames of fire.

Pookie, my Frizzled Cochin-Silkie-Polish hen.
So absolutely adorably cute and unique with the crest, muffs, beard and feathered legs, and five toes! She has large, elegant eyes, too, from her Polish side. When she roosts and retracts her neck, she looks like a mum flower. When she is molting, her feather shafts get looking all spiney and she looks shockingly skeletal (Sorry, I don't have any pics of that).
