What is the Youngest that a chick can be dusted?

I have some chicks that are about 4 weeks old. Are they too young to dust for bugs? Cuz they need to be....

If they were being raised by a chicken they'd be out in the dirt from day one, so, yeah, they should enjoy any dirt bath available.

Are they outside? They shouldn't have bugs already.

Yes, they are outside, but in a hutch. They had a mama hen for a while. They have bugs. I don't mean dirt dust, I mean Sevin dust. The Sevin container doesn't say anything about ages they can be dusted, so that's what I need to know.

DK b/c I use DE. If it's bad for bees I'm not comfortable having it around my girls.
