Is he big, like a Brahma? He looks like he has the beginnings of a poof on top of his head. He looks like a cockerel because of the sickle and hackle feathers, he could be a barnyard mix. Not much help, but you’ll get more educated replies in the morning

No he's not he's smaller or the same size as the silkies.

Agree with the others. They're all silkie mixes, all cockerels. The last one has normal feathering because he doesn't express the silkie gene, he's still a silkie mix though

Yes. The last one is definitely a cross breed. The two first are either mixes or very low quality silkies

The sillkied ones look like pet quality partridge silkies. I couldn't tell if they are pullets or cockerels but others are saying cockerel. The smooth feathered one a silkie crossed cockerel.

thank you so much, the lady I got them from was determent they were pullets, she's been hatching these chicks for years. I guess I'll have to wait and see. I thought that of the smooth feathered one but second-guessed myself when he didn't have an extra toe lol.
