What is this a chicken? If so what breed

My thought exactly. How has it survived this long if it keeps showing up at her door? Sounds like someone had buyers remorse and dropped

I have 3 with feathered feet so that's why I was asking. It looks like thread tangled on there but someone said dried grass. I've never heard of a stray single chicken so this is odd to me.

It was very odd it showed up and wouldn’t leave so we took it in for the night. Does anyone know what to feed it?

Chick starter grower feed. I recommend getting 24% protein stuff.

Until you're able to get feed, you can give some scrambled eggs. Just don't cook in butter.

EE. I recommend 20% protein chick grower. Before you can get feed, scrambled eggs are okay. If you own chickens, some layer feed could definitely last her a few days, but not long term. Flock raiser is perfect as well. Make sure to get the chick water. A nice box could do as a temporary shelter/brooder. I like to use a plastic tote. Since she is the only chick, make sure to spend a lot of time with it. For bedding, dog pads work well.
