Found this in the coop this morning. The egg had been pecked at, and it’s pretty (edited) fragile, not soft. Very thin shell, but definitely not soft. I think it’s one of the two I have that haven’t started laying, and this is the first egg. The third one I have already laid four eggs and they’re bigger.
What’s this thing that looks like it was around the egg? It was also in middle of the coop, not even in the nesting box.
Any ideas?
Chickens are 19 weeks about.

It probably was not around the soft-shelled egg. It's probably a second shellless egg that one of your pullets laid. Because they've only just begun laying it is not uncommon to see less than perfect eggs from them. Give them some time to work the kinks out of their still maturing reproductive system.

What are the chances that two chickens laid eggs for the first time this morning in the same spot and both eggs had issues?
Not in the nesting box - right in middle of the coop.

Also I edited my post - my mistake, it wasn’t soft shelled, it was very thin shelled. And the other had nothing. No inside. Just looked about the same size as the egg and was very soft. It hardened over the past few hours.

Those might not both be first time eggs. One could have been laid yesterday or the day before somewhere outside in the run area and could have broken and eaten out there and you wouldn't have seen evidence of it.
And even sometimes when a chicken has laid normal eggs she can lay a shellless or soft shelled egg.
You might have an issue developing with them pecking at and eating the soft shelled eggs. What are they currently being fed for their normal diet and any treats?

The membrane had nothing in it because they ate the contents. Soft shelled and thin shelled are synonymous when it comes to these types of eggs.
Then why didn’t they eat the other egg? It was pecked at and cracked open, yolk still intact.
The other piece had zero remnants, and it couldn’t have sat more than ten minutes.

I have three chickens. One just started laying four days ago. She is the biggest. I check the coop multiple times a day, and that one that has laid let’s me know good and loudly that she has laid or wants to lay.
No way the others laid yet, or anywhere else. And if this is her egg that the other pecked at, why would the day five egg be softer than the others out of nowhere or gone a little wonky?
I’m still waiting for her to lay an egg today, and if she doesn’t, I will assume the egg was hers, even though much smaller than the previous four - even the first one she laid last week.
They are eating regular chicken feed for their age, and given baked eggshells crushed. And all kitchen scraps.
The eggs I’ve been getting have been hard. Healthy. And growing by day. The other two who hadn’t laid yet, I assumed this was from one of them whos the smallest, but has been squatting today and yesterday for the first time when I approach her.

If she's been laying for four days, she's a very new layer and it's normal for there to be strange eggs, as DobieLover said:
