I got this bantam out of the 'assorted bantam' bin at TSC.
'She' (I hope) is almost 4 weeks old. Any ideas about 'her' breed or gender?
She was yellow, feathers coning in white/buff. Clean legs, grey-ish legs. Pea comb??
Thank you!!

I was thinking too, but she has no muffs at all ?? Her legs are not really green, but more like grey.

Can EEs have no muffs? I got her from the batam bin at TSC, no idea what the hatchery is though.

I am thinking she will be buff or something other than white... she looks even more buff today. I'll peruse through the breed section again, hope to find something!

Same experience here: most of my EEs have muffs and beards, but a few don't. I also have a EE cross who is jet black, no muffs or beard, and with a single comb. Looking at her, you'd never believe she laid green eggs, but she does! I think there's some leg color variance among my EEs, too: most of them are green, but at least one is grayish, and another is slate blue.

Your little one's comb could be a pea comb, or rose. Really hard to say at that age. Is she feathering out with a little tan on her wings?

It is dumb, TCS's how they just label them "Bantams" I have 4, that I got about a month ago. 3 Look almost like they are going to be golden sebrights, and one is yellow. I wish I just knew for sure what breed they are. Tractor supply should be sure of what they are selling.
