What is this chicken thinking?

The "Snow Removal Rooster Road Crew" was up late last night getting the paths cleared for all the ladies. Henry was seen here congratulating the crew on the fine job they did.

Pearl looked on eagerly as her momma prepared her breakfast of warm oatmeal and raisins. She felt all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that she had the "bestest" momma a chicken could have.....

Mine are an all female crew...while sissy pants Cochin roo stayed in the coop.

In this pic you see the elusive Snow Chicken over a fresh kill. I was fortunate to get the shot as they are rarely seen in their natural habitat in the winter months.

brown chicken: strut, strut, la, dee da.
black chicken: hey, have you realized how cold this stuff is?
brown chicken: yeah, that's why I'm running for the coop

Ah....there is breakfast. Hey wait a minute! Where is....OH NO....Cochin ROO? Is that you Cochin ROO??! I told him to stop crowing at 4 am in the morning! Better stay clear of the Farmer this morning!
