Introduced brooding chicks for the first time to my most docile hen, Jewels today. About one second after the last pic was snapped Jewels went medieval on the cage and I had to carry her away kicking and bocking. She actually cut her wattle attacking. What are Jewels and the little girls thinking? (That's not poo in my babies cage; I give them little patches of sod to "free range" and dust bathe
