Hey, don't make any jokes about my receding feather line or my comb that looks like a wrinkled forehead.


A rooster like me is on the job 24-7 when there are little ones to protect. Sigh... I would really like a dust bath. Can I look intimidating and take a dust bath at the same time?


We are inseparable. No really, everywhere I go, there she is. I fall asleep and then wake up to find her underneath me. I mean I can't get rid of her.

That last photo, I didn't notice the chicken underneath until I looked closer, then I was trying to figure out if they were the same age or not. Such pretty chicks.

WOW I don't have a caption for this one. I am stunned with the size of that comb. He's a beaut. How old is he?

Papas chickens posted this chicken in a Barred Rock thread and said he was only 2 weeks at the time!
This chicken didn't waste any time in letting everyone know he is all rooster!
