LOL My husband or I took this photo 6 or 7 years ago near the beginning of our chicken adventure. If you look below the left hen, you can see the stripe of the back of the chick. I have an idea what they were thinking:

If those silly humans dare stick their hands in the nest, I'll do the pecking and you can do the growling. We will teach those newbies all about the wrath of broody hen double trouble!
