Some will not ever be huggable
set down like he does and try a hand treat ...Something small like a mealworm or a pumpkin seed
Chickens will do almost anything for food

I tried, but the mosquitoes sucked all my blood, even with spray on. I sit in a chair and feed them, and we still have a relationship, since my role is relegated to "chicken waitress and janitor", they do let me know what they need or want every day. They are so funny and cute.
If I catch one up, most of the girls will settle down and start to enjoy being pet, despite themselves. I have one Legbar who constantly has a dirty bum. She gets warm bubble baths, which she enjoys so much she falls asleep and I stand there and keep her head above water. She will sit in bubble bath forever if I let her. Like a dog, she also loves the towel part. I wrap her like a baby.

She does look high, doesn't she? She had s crucate tear and got lots of pain killers and sedatives to keep her still.

Did you raise them from chicks ? as they tend to be friendlier than broody raised chicks ..

We did raise them all from chicks. BUT, being brand new chicken parents, we kept the brooder on the floor, and constantly loomed over them to do chick chores and catch them up.,With me and husband causing fear or being flighty, I think we did not start out on the right chicken foot......If there is a next time, the brooder will be on a table so we are equal heights.

Thanks all you funny chicken people! We should make a chicken comic book or something.
