Far Right Bird, whispering in Middle Bird's ear: "On the count of 3, we'll tell her together..."
Middle Bird, whispering back: "I'm not saying anything...you're on your own this time."
Red Bird, turning away, disgusted and thinking: "Do they really think I can't hear them? Like I don't already know my hair is sticking up. Such juveniles."

What is she thinking?

This is Little Red Hen, reporting live on KRBN. There has been a case of severe pneumonia. Some poor hen got pushed into the waterer and caught cold! The symptoms include a droopy comb. Also, some hens are calling for the construction of a statue in the local coop. Will the human have the budget for this?
