What are they thinking...

Chicken on left: Counselor, your client has been charged with theft of meal worms in the first degree, publix intoxication and indecent exposure while dust bathing. How does she plead? Chicken front right: Your honor, my client pleads not guilty on all counts. We are prepared to show she was framed by the infamous Silky Gang in the theft of the meal worms. As to the other charges, that was just an unfortunate accident. My client inadvertently consumed some overly fermented feed and therefore cannot be held responsible for her actions.

That should have been "publiC" intoxication...I'm a bit fumble fingers this morning.

Nope. Just one hen there. I have to admit, the day I saw this it took me more than a few seconds to figure out just what on earth I was seeing myself.

LOL Yoga was my first guess. This is actually a broody hen. She was like this when I opened the coop in the morning and evidently very comfortable since she stayed that way while I ran and got the camera, took a few shots, then picked her up. No earthly idea why she settled this way but it is pretty funny. Try seeing that with bleary sleepy eyes first thing in the morning - you'll wake up!
