Here are another pair of Italian pigeons. They're sitting on a bust of Giordano Bruno, a 16th c. Dominican friar, philosopher, mathematician, astronomer, and writer who was burned at the stake for heresy during the inquisition.

No hawk will dare snatch me off such a distinguished statue.
