What is this chicken thinking?

OK i know this isn't chicken related but, yesterday my blue heeler had 14 puppies. unfortunatly there was one stillborn, but the rest are doing well. she looks bad so im not including a picture of her, but here are the puppies............... What are they thinking?

And quarterback Buff 1 has the ball! She makes a run for a touchdown, but Little Red and Lacie are close behind! Teammate Buff 2 comes in for a pass! But, oh!! Little Red has intercepted the pass! Moving back toward the end zone for a field goal!

I know nothing about sports, soo...
