Why oh why do you think taking pics at this time is fun??

I know. I'm a bad chicken mama. But I just had to document how bad she looked. And it's been fun to see how quickly her new feathers came in. I can no longer see bare skin. YEA!!! I did catch her shivering yesterday morning despite the fact there is a heat lamp in one corner of the run. She doesn't want to be near it.

The weather should be mild here this week with only the mornings being chilly. And I'm hoping that by this weekend, her feathers are open enough to give her warmth coverage. She'll be BEAUTIFUL when she finishes.
