we only have a few days left of laying around doing nothing

yes, the roo's and chicks will be back from father and child summer camp on Thursday

I have an idea how about us mom's having a spa weekend without them

just a weekend ... could it be a whole week

I don't think so ... the roo's have been with them for a week alone already and I don't think they want to make it 2 weeks

and we have been with them every day of their sweet little chicken lives with the exception of one week

Here's my roo, Sissy. He came from the pullets bin, but by the time we figured out otherwise he was already responding to the name. And, shucks, just look at him...he is obviously man enough to not let something like that bother him. LOL!

Aww, what a cutie! This is our Misty from the pullet bin. Now, he never really took to that girly name so he's been Mr Beaks aka Bubba for a long time now. It fits.
