It does work, to a point. They can still crow, but not as loud as when it's off! Plus, I can tell it deters him from crowing often. If he didn't have that on, he would be crowing most of the day I think. Sometimes he'll start to crow, then he'll cut it short. Just stop. You have to keep tightening it because they scratch at it, makes it loose. This poor guy had a hard time with getting used to it. Had to take it off the second day, then go waay loose for a day, then back to tight, and he did much better..was more used to it. I feel bad.. a little. A rooster should be able to crow. :/ I want a rooster so bad. I live in a neighborhood. This is how I can have one.

I love hearing my big boy crow! He is 15wks old now.......... my neighbors won't be so thrilled when he gets louder, though. If he stays this quiet and sleeps in everyday, then a No-Crow-Collar won't be necessary- but somehow I doubt that will happen.
