Maybe she’ll be like the ugly ducking that turns into a swan...only she’ll turn into a beautiful hen! She reminds me a little of that hen, Miss Prissy, on Those old Foghorn Leghorn cartoons:

I’m not sure what “Lonely” is saying, but Foghorn Leghorn would be saying:
“Gal reminds me of a highway between Forth Worth and Dallas – no curves!”

I know it’s a long time till Chistmas, but for some reason this reminded me of the song “Up On The Housetop“ So the following jingle that she’s thinking must be sung to that tune:
