Day 3 of Captivity:
I can’t believe I’ve pulled this off! My fake quacking has my captors believing I am a duck! They’ve even placed me in the bathtub for a swim tonight, which leads me to believe my mental superiority has them completely fooled! Now, for my biggest challenge yet….I must conceal the fact that I cannot swim. If they find out that I am a chicken, I fear that there will be nefarious plans for my future, as I hear them whisper of chicken and waffles. I must stay strong and continue to outwit them! If I can keep up this charade, it will be just a matter of time until they let me go into the pond outside and then I can escape to freedom!
