This duck egg was candled at day 24 and still has this at the end. Baby is still moving. My son is so scared the two he has left are going to die. We have researched everything but came up with nothing. This is our first time incubating and we're learning as we go. Tomorow we are stoping turning and setting on grate for hatching.

Welcome!

Did you mean to attach an image? Sorry, I can not see one.

When you have an image, you might want to try posting it on the Incubating & Hatching Eggs Forum: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/5/incubating-hatching-eggs

Or, the Duck Forum: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/42/ducks

Good luck with your hatch, I do hope your son has some little ducklings to love.

I also hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun. Unlike non chicken loving friends, family and colleagues, BYC’ers never tire of stories or pictures that feature our feathered and non feathered friends
