What is this?! Graphic pic

https://www.kvsupply.com/item/aqua-mox-250mg-capsules-100-count/P06184/ They will deliver to most places in the US. If you aren't in the US, probably not. And a few western states prohibit antibiotics from being sold without a vet prescription, so they won't ship orders to those states.

Yes, give a calcium tablet again if she hasn't passed the egg after twelve hours after the first dose. If the egg comes out thin shelled or shell-less, continue a tablet a day until she lays good quality eggs.
Going to try ordering now! Do you have dosage instructions for the antibiotic or will it be on the bottle? Like how much for how long?

Thank you so much for all your help!!

You'll be getting the 250mg amoxicillin. When you dose your girl, just pop one capsule into her beak once a day for ten days.
Hey! This is probably a dumb question, but I have a roosting bar in the dog crate for my hen as she didn’t seem to want to sit or lay down. Will her being on the roosting bar discourage her from laying the egg?

The mechanics of laying include standing in an upright position so that gravity can assist as the hen pushes the egg out. Observe a hen in a nest box and you'll see she stands as she is getting ready to pop out her egg. Hens can do it from a perch, but it's not usually their first choice when laying an egg.

When confined to a crate during a crisis such as this, a roosting perch may be more of a hindrance than an aid.

Good morning. I took the perch out. Still no egg :( She’s not eating or drinking great so I’ve resorted to making her drink with a dropper and mix some crushed food with a little yogurt. I’ve kept up the routine but I just can’t seem to get the white stuff uncrusted from her prolapse, even after long epsom bath soaks. Any suggestions? She’s leaking a lot.

This is normal for an oviduct obstruction. It's slimy and smelly. Try wringing a wash cloth out in warm sudsy water and wiping her but as best you can.

How much calcium is she getting and how often? You may need to increase it.

Also, tube feeding would be a good idea if you feel up to it. You'd need a tubing and a syringe to fit it. Vets sell the kits for just a few dollars. Recently I had a hen I treated for this and I tube fed her one day twice, and it restored her energy levels and I believe it helped her good outcome.

The crustiness wouldn’t contribute to the egg not coming out, right? I’m definitely cleaning it as best as I can but it’s starting to look a little sore and the witch hazel seems to sting so I’ve backed off on trying to get the crust off completely.

I’m giving her a calcium tablet every 12 hrs still but I haven’t seen any movement in the swelling under her vent, which is where I assume the egg is. I am massaging the area in hopes of stimulating movement too.

I will check into that feeding tube. Thanks!!
