What is this gross little dangle thingy?

Hello,

Just scooping out the coop this evening and noticed one of my barred rock chickens has some sort of unusual growth, just above her leg. It looks like a hernia or a tumor. Anyone familiar with what this might be?

If it's at her vent, it could possibly be the start of a prolapse. Hard to tell though.
