What is this ? Help

My daughter has 2 chickens that are losing tail feathers and feathers under their wings. We can’t see any visible lice. Anyone know what it might be or how to treat it ? Thanks in advance

How old are they?
They could be molting.

It looks like a little pecking damage. But when molting they usually lose their tail feathers. Are they starting to molt? How old are they?

Around 7 months old

That is too young for a molt, so I would hang out with them to find who is feather picking. They sometimes will do it on the roost if they can reach each other. Some things that can help prevent the pecking are Nustock cream or pine tar, both of which taste bad and promote healing. Make sure they are getting enough protein in their diet and not overcrowded. How much room do they have, and what are you feeding them? Do they get out to free range?

Does look like feather picking. They make spray /ointment for that you could apply.
Also just to rule it out check for parasites like lice or mites.
