What is this hen doing??

Hello,
This afternoon I found my hen trying to crawl under one of my roosters. Whenever he would walk forward so would she and get further under him. Was she trying to get him to mate with her? She hasn't laid any eggs in years as she is about 8 years old. Any ideas?

Any one been pecking on her? Sometimes my hens will try to crawl under each other or under the roo. At least she's not trying to cross the road.

Haha, no, I have not seen anyone pecking on her or any signs of it on her either. Being the oldest, she's cock-of-the-walk for lack of a better term.
