What is this...I don't even...(exasperation over laying behavior)

I have 6 pullets. One started laying a couple of weeks ago. It's one of the easter eggers, but I can't tell which. Everything I'd read on BYCF made me think my EEs would be the last to lay. Neither sings the egg song, so I have no clue. BUT one of my BRs sings the egg song. Loudly. And often. But doesn't lay.
Why is there no headdesk smiley??

If it helps, our EE's were the first to lay, and actually they have been the most dependable layers. (We have Buff Orps and GLWs too) Are your EE eggs a light green/blue color?

*BTW - when one of our girls sings the egg song, it is quite common for others to join in. Perhaps your BRs are just having fun using their 'voice'.

I only have three pullets of which two are laying (not daily yet) but when one starts singing they all start in. I have two likely suspects but I don't know for sure who's laying yet.

Dont worry that happens to us but it was just the first 3 weeks.
