And Black Widow spiders. I think she kills the male after they mate..

I'm telling you I knocked one of those things off the kitchen window screen, figuring the chicken at my feet would like it. She tried to eat it and then squawked and jumped back. I ain't messing with another one.

Nice shot. Reminded me I'd spotted a couple that the tree frogs hadn't gotten to on the front porch light.

We still call `em `May flies' (as in, they may not be around very long...)

Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, OH, gets covered in TONS of these things every summer. I used to disturb guests by picking these bugs up when I worked there.

They would flail a bit, which was rather gross.

I'm not scared of bugs, but I don't like ones that bite or sting.

Woman you know as well as I do that a WARNING on a post is an invitation to open it. Like a train wreck - you know it's bad but you have to look anyways.
