My favorite time is when birds look a little funny (teenager time). A little funny is adorable This bird is such a cutie too.

re;do they not have tails? yes unfortunately however due to their independent nature they sometimes lose them to predators. the sudden loss or release of tail feathers can actually save their life! so sometimes a little less tail coverage can be a good thing.

I haven't heard anything back from him so I don't know whether he decided to catch it or continue to let it run around his yard/garage. I did tell him it was a chicken most likely though. Will keep everyone posted if I hear any other news or get any new pictures.
