what is this on my keets head?

My keets are 10 days old and this one has devolped some kind of growth on his head. What is it and how do i treat it? Does he need to be quarantined?

I have no idea what that is. Does it look like a scab? It looks like an oozy sore. I would pull him out and see if it heals.

It looks like a wound, either from getting caught on something or from being pecked. I suppose it could be a growth of some sort, but in any case, I would treat it with some triple antibiotic ointment (without pain medication). There are other spray-on treatments that could be used, too. I don't remember their names, but maybe something called Blu-Kote? If it is a pecking wound, you might need to separate the keet (keeping it within sight of the others). Try watching all of them for awhile to see if you can witness any bullying or pecking. If it is a growth or tumor there probably isn't anything you can do, but here's hoping that some antibiotic ointment will do the trick.
