What is this plant? and is it safe?

My chickens love to eat this plant that grows in my yard:

It's purple and pale green, and grows sort of like a vine.

Does anyone know what this plant is called and is it safe for my chickens to eat?

I know most of you are from America so you might not be familiar with this plant because I'm in Australia.... but here's hoping.

Sorry not sure of the name of it, but it is used as a hanging plant here int he US. I had one that an elderly lady gave me once, at least that looks like the same leaves.

Here's another one with a bit more of the vine showing but they've munched off all the leaves.

I live in Florida, and it grows like crazy here. The link I have posted says it's not toxic to birds & reptiles. Hope this helps.
