What is this? Possible Lash egg?

I found this in the nesting box yesterday. I’m not quite sure which one laid it. Could it be a Lash egg?

I squeezed it and it was rubbery with a small white ball in the tube. I tossed it away before cutting. My chickens all seem fine

Chickens hide illness really well. How old are they? What are you feeding them? Where are you housing them?

They live in a large coop (they do not free range) they eat Kings organic layer feed and I give them fresh greens, mealworms, and other foods (melon, pumpkin, fennel etc).

They are molting in different stages right now. 8 chickens - 2 white rock, 2 easter egger, 2 black sexlink, 2 brown sexlink

No. It was a big surprise to see that. They are eating and drinking too. As they are moulting, the number is a bit lower, but I’m getting eggs. They are 2 years old

Could be a lash egg but not a typical looking one - if you get another (and if it's lash material you'll likely see another) make sure to cut it open and photograph the inside. What you're looking for is layered rubbery/cheesy material inside.
