What is this thing?

This was in my egg this morning. There was a large yolk and a little blood along with this thing. What is it?

Where was it exactly? Was the blood spread around in the yolk or just a spot? Blood spot in an eggs yolk is usually nothing serious, just a rupture while making the egg. Did you separate whats in the pic from the egg? Chalaza perhaps?

It was floating in the white. The blood was also in the white. It wasn't attached to the yolk. My mother in law thinks maybe it's a second yolk.
