Noticed this on one of my girls head tonight! I touched it as best I could to make sure it didn't move[IMG] Appeared to be a scab but not sure. She seems to be acting normally, running around and eating. Is there anything I should do or just watch it?

Thank you. This is my first little flock so I'm a little paranoid after being on these forums [IMG] and hearing of all the diseases etc! thanks for the reassurance!

I hear yeah......It is a possible peck to the head? It is fine.......Or if you have a Rooster/Cockerel they will grab a Pullet by the comb and breed......

    Cheers!!!!

I think it's a scab, another chicken probably got mad at them and pecked them. Keep us posted, I'm praying! [IMG]
