What is this?

I hope this isn't too gross but I really need help. One of my hens left this in the nesting box. Is this her insides? I've never seen anything like this.

looks like the white circle is the egg shell and the yellow stuff is the yolk, we have had that happen before when our chickens lay mushy eggs then step on them the egg and when the shell is mushy it cracks open. I dont know what the pinkish thing is though.

It sort of looks like a soft shell egg but I'm not sure what the pink is. You might see what opinions you get on this forum:
