I found this in my duck egg can anyone tell me what it is I thought I had three girls but I’m starting to think differently....

The 2nd one is, the first one just looks weird. Post pics of your ducks. Do any of them have deeper quacks or a tail feather that curls upward?

It doesn't look fertile to me... but I don't claim to be good, just practicing.

Male ducks will have a curl on their tale once they reach a certain age. And before that their voice turns to a very low rasp instead of a loud quack. Pics welcome!

Your first pic seems similar to a meat spot seen in chicken eggs sometimes.

I’ve seen that spot a couple times on the first pic. Nothing to worry about. Got a couple of them when my ducks first started laying.

Its normal especially at the start of a laying cycle.

This white spot appears like a germinal disc but probably not if do not own a drake as that is where the sperm enters the egg. See photo. Meat spots are same as blood spots. Probably not in this case.

The other common white item found in egg is the chalazae. This serves to hold the yolk in center of egg and does not indicate a fertile egg.

Yes but isn’t that on the outside of the egg not a dot in the middle?
