What is this?

Who and why would someone even think of that?!
The real question here is . . why no earth would someones mother give this to them? Lol.
Don't ask me. . guess because they came in a 3 pack so she shared. I highly recommend getting one! Especially If you drink coffee. .or smoke. . you'd be surprised how much it builds up.

I should get one for my mom for Mother's Day :lau

Build up with what.....?

it does work well. But you still have to pick the meats out of the shell pieces and that takes a while. My nutcracker was made by a local guy, here's his website--

That brings back memories... my dad had one very similar... a bit different/older design... I think I figured out it was made in Kansas...

My sister has it now... I mounted it to I nice showy piece of walnut for her and it is mostly just for show... although I did use it to crack some filberts/ hazelnuts at Christmas time when I was at her house...

Also, tell your pencil not to get too close... I saw it sitting there... walnut crackers aren’t the brightest things and it might mistake a pencil for a walnut... ;)

Ok. This is too much.. I did not look at what you quoted..

My first thought was, ok his Dad has a tongue scraper.... giving it to your sister was a tad “different”. However, who am I to question your use of each other’s oral hygiene equipment....

but when he mounted the scraper to a board, it started getting weird..

No, no, no... my brother got Dad’s tongue scraper, and he mounted it on a nice piece of birds eye maple and hung it above the fireplace, right next to grandma’s dentures, and our great uncle Melvin’s toupee ... :lau
