What is this?

Such a silly thing. Who unwinds their yarn to balls anymore? Do they not know that the cylindrical skeins today have been wound so that the string end comes out from the center of the end? No more ball rolling away as you pull more yarn. You don't need to handle the skein at all. Just keep knitting. No tangled mess to prevent. I've never rolled a yarn ball. Yarn has been in such skeins since I was a kid and I'm pushing 69.


I have never had a yarn problem....

My grandma use to make balls, so I have seen them..

The WW is allergic to yarn, I think, I have never seen her make anything out of yarn other than decorating some kid project.

:D I guess I do.... Man is the only animal that can be skinned more than once. :oops:
 
I went looking for the meaning of that phrase. All I found was a reference of it being used but no definition .

Skinning a person means fleecing them...as a con artist would do...

Means we are gullible when our greed is peaked and we fail to realize something is too good to be true.
